brother saw this one
« on: June 06, 2009, 09:10:05 PM »
So, I had to doctor up this pic, so it would be a more hidden location....Skagit Valley Bear...taken at 50 yards...brother was guessing 300 lbs or more.

define doctored up please.  Did you cut and paste that bear in there?

I hope not he looks good
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

Doctored up, meaning I cropped the pic down (both in size of file and surroundings). No cut and paste. Thats the bearski as he was.

They're your brothers pictures, but do you know if he saw it close enough to think that might be a griz?  The pictures don't show the face well with the blur and head down but the ears look rounded and shoulder hump?  :dunno:  Hard to tell for me but what do I know.   :P

he was fifty yards. He doesnt believe it was a griz, nor do I. Just a color phase with the head down...
